Extensive Training to Get You Up to Speed

At Decorating Den, our training is thorough and ongoing. Each step has been carefully designed to help you with every aspect of your business while bringing you up-to-speed, quickly and efficiently. Initial and ongoing training of franchise owners is a basic ingredient of our system and covers design principles, product knowledge, sales and marketing, and business management. Training begins with a 45-day home study preparation program. This initial training known as "Ready-Set-Go" includes the necessary steps to establish your new business locally.

New franchisees then attend Professional Design and Sales School, a comprehensive 2-week classroom training session conducted at the Lifestyle University in our corporate headquarters in Easton, Maryland. The next step in our ongoing education program is provided through training sessions in your area to focus on each key aspect of our business. Training continues with regular regional meetings, sessions conducted by suppliers, our annual Conference and Suppliers' Market and, special national training events. Our Executive Franchise program is designed to bring a franchise to a higher level in both size and sales volume after certain levels of experience are achieved.

At Decorating Den, you are never alone. We take great pride in our team-spirited owners and field managers who share their experiences and offer a helping hand whenever needed. With our regional offices and our corporate staff; help, guidance and personal support are never more than a phone call or email away. Our DecoNet Intranet system enables franchise owners to communicate online with other owners as well as with field managers, and corporate staff. In addition to communications, DecoNet also provides sophisticated customer management, sales reporting and an extensive digital library of rooms, decorating tips, and much more.
